About this Event
Workshop Series — Euro-Atlantic Western Esotericism / Occidental Occultism:
The Enochian Apocalypse: Enochian Magick and the Book of Revelation!
This upcoming workshop hosted by Toronto Thelema explores the relationship between John Dee’s system of Enochian Magick and the apocalyptic visions of the Book of Revelation. Emerging from Dee and Edward Kelley’s angelic communications in the late 16th century, Enochian Magick presents a vast symbolic and ritual framework involving celestial hierarchies, visionary states, sacred language, seals, Calls or Keys, and revelations concerning cosmic order and transformation.
The Book of Revelation, long regarded as one of the most mysterious and symbolically dense texts in the Western canon, contains visions of angels, divine judgement, prophetic seals, heavenly temples, catastrophic upheaval, and the unveiling of hidden realities. For centuries, occultists, mystics, and ceremonial magicians have sought to interpret its imagery not only theologically, but initiatically and magically.
In this session, we will examine how Enochian symbolism and ritual structures may correspond to themes and sequences found within Revelation. Participants will explore how apocalyptic imagery can be translated into operative ritual work, visionary practice, and magical consciousness. We will discuss the role of angelic intermediaries, sacred speech, visionary ascent, and the concept of apocalypse itself—not merely as destruction, but as unveiling and revelation.
The workshop will also consider how these currents intersect with broader Thelemic concerns: initiation through ordeal, contact with praeterhuman intelligences, the transformative power of revelation, and the magician’s confrontation with cosmic change. From Dee’s crystal visions to modern ceremonial practice, we will investigate how Enochian Magick reframes apocalypse as a living esoteric process.
Whether newly curious or already engaged in occult study, this session invites attendees to explore one of the most fascinating intersections of Western esotericism, visionary religion, and ritual magick.
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will.
This is part of Toronto Thelema's monthly workshop program, open to all!
