We’re excited to welcome Nicole Salgar as a speaker for our February CreativeMornings gathering — she's a community-engaged visual artist working at the intersection of visual art, public space, and collaboration. A first-generation U.S.-born child of Cuban and Colombian immigrants, Nicole’s creative practice is deeply shaped by place, movement, and cultural history. From her early training in fashion design and tailoring to more than a decade in the public art space, her work reflects a curiosity for how paths are formed — and re-formed — over time.Our global theme this month is CAMINO — a Spanish word meaning “path” or “way.” Nicole will explore this theme through her personal journey, tracing where her path began, the unexpected turns along the way, and how learning to trust change has shaped her life and practice. Her talk reflects on staying open to experience, embracing uncertainty, and finding alignment not by force, but by flow.
