✈️ Turangi Aero Club – First Fly-In of 2026 & BBQ Lunch 🍔🔥Calling all pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and friends of general aviation!
The Turangi Aero Club invites you to kick off 2026 with our first fly-in of the year, a relaxed BBQ lunch at the foot of the Central Plateau.
🛩️ Fly in, drive in, or just drop by for a great day of flying, food, and camaraderie. Catch up with fellow aviators, swap a few hangar stories, and enjoy a classic Kiwi BBQ with stunning mountain views.
📅 When: Sunday, 15 February 2026 -> BBQ Starts 1200
📍 Where: Turangi Aerodrome (NZTN) S 38 58 06 E 175 48 49
💲 BBQ: $20 per plate with landing fees included
❤️ Why: Valentine’s Day recovery (you’ve earned it)
This is Turangi Aero Club’s first fly-in for 2026, so get amongst it and show your support for Turangi’s airstrip and aviation community. We’d love to see a good turnout on the grass.
