Ansgarkirken and SpiRituals invite you to experience the church space in an unconventional way.
Drawing on the underlying spiritual function of the space, four artists will perform live-electronics as a means to challenge the traditional format.
With this we hope to create an oasis of sound, light and architecture that touches on the universal spirit in people, leaving an open interpretation to the audience.

Starting in 2012 with Psytrance/Psytechno in a Brussels basement, his electronic journey has evolved into a downtempo project rich in experimentation. Using instruments like didgeridoo's, guitars and synths, he blends acoustic sounds with the raw power of electronics to create organic stories.
Years of experience in bands from metal to reggae, combined with a passion for electronics, shape his unique style, where deep, layered, psychedelic sounds meet. At times otherworldly, and at times warm and soothing.

R E S P I R A
Respira is a sonic explorer of subtle and mystical realms. Over the past decade, his fascination with the transcendental nature of sound and music has led him to collaborate on a wide range of projects - merging new creative technologies with transformative practices.
Based in Copenhagen, Respira has performed and produced music for multichannel installations and interdisciplinary performances alongside acclaimed artists and studios across the globe.
Behind the project is composer and sound designer Markus Trige Frandsen. At the core of his solo work are fluid, organic ambient soundscapes - yet an unpredictable universe shaped by a curiosity for psychoacoustics and altered states of perception. In recent years, Respira’s output has increasingly focused on the interplay between the experimental and the conventional, blending elements of new age bliss with deep, textured drone music.
Markus is also co-founder of the cultural community Nature Tales and developing vibrotactile sound installations as part of the cutting-edge Copenhagen-based project VibroAcoustics.

B O R G K V I S T
Borgkvist is the musical project of Malmö-based Excel enthusiast Magnus Borgkvist Johansson. His output ranges from beat-driven live sets to melodic, ambient soundscapes — all tied together by lush pads and a deep affection for the acid machine X0XB0X.

R I C H H I L L
Rich Hill is originally from the UK but now lives in Billund, Denmark. It’s been said that he spends too much time alone with his guitar and synthesizers, avoiding having to speak to other people. On occasion, it occurs to him that he should play his music to other people. This is one of those occasions.
Pushed to describe his music, Rich might say it’s a quasi-Marxist interpretation of late stage capitalism, a comment on the western world’s current misguided flirtation with facism and division. But that’s mainly because he’d quite like to be quoted in The Wire at some point. He’d also worry that it made him sound like a bit of a wanker.
You can expect dark drones, discordant guitar lines and appropriate amounts of reverb. And, if all goes to plan, hope.
