⚡ Saturday Slugfest: Eat, Shop, and Hit Dingers! ⚡
Get ready for a total takeover of the North County Mall! We’re blending high-tech batting practice with a social tour of Escondido’s premier shopping and dining destination. Whether you’re a home-run king or just want to swing for fun, this event is all about good vibes and great company. No cost to attend this event to socialize and make friends and hang out but there may be cost involved with the activities you want to do there.

Time: 12:00 PM – Late
Meeting Point: We will meet at Dingers to start our fun day! Look for the group on the first floor in Suite #153 (near JC Penney and the kids' play area).
Play: The Dingers Experience
Dingers is a high-tech facility that’s way more than just cages. They offer:
- PX3 Projected Pitchers: Face a "real" pitcher on a screen for an immersive experience.
- HitTrax Tracking: See your stats, launch angle, and exit velocity in real-time.
- Flexible Pricing: * Jugs Machine Lane: $1.50 per minute (5-minute minimum).
- Premium PX3 Lane: $2.00 per minute with HitTrax analytics.
- Full Shell Cage: $3.00 per minute—perfect for when we want to hit together as a group!
- Summer Special: They often host "Dingers For Dads" events around this time in June, so keep an eye out for potential tournament-weekend energy and special gear discounts in their store.

After we work up an appetite, the mall has plenty of spots to refuel within walking distance:
- The Cheesecake Factory: Great for a massive menu and cocktails.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Located right near a main entrance, perfect for shareable pizzas.
- Panini Kabob Grill: Fresh Mediterranean flavors for a healthier refuel.

Explore three stories of retail therapy. Since we’re meeting near JC Penney, we’re in a prime spot to hit Nordstrom, Coach, and Macy's, or browse the unique hobby shops throughout the mall.
Important Parking Info
To make finding the group easy, use these specific parking tips:
- Best Bet: Park near the JC Penney second-level entrance. Enter there, head down the escalator, and you'll see the Dingers sign right away.
- Alternative: Park by California Pizza Kitchen, enter the mall, and stay left toward the escalators.
- EV Charging: There are Jolt EV charging stations near Macy's if you need a top-off while we play.
