Our Kizomba workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to dance Kizomba.
These fundamentals will remain with you throughout the whole of your dance life. We will teach you dance techniques, including lead/follow, dance style, musicality, footwork and how to understand and respond to the music
This intensive workshop will get you dancing with confidence.
Doors open 9:45am Meet, Greet and registration.
The whole course is £15 Cash on the day.
Starts at 10am – Finish 2pm
10:00am -10:45am Beginners
11:00am -11:45am Beginners+
12:15pm -1.00pm Improvers
1:15pm -2.00pm Improvers+
2:00pm – 2:30pm Q&A, Practice and clear up.
Light refreshments Included.
Coffee, Tea, Squash with nibbles
Do I need to book in advance?
No need to book. Nope, just turn up.
Do I need a partner for Kizomba dancing?
We do NOT require you to bring a partner. We will rotate dancers so everyone get to dance with a partner.
Dress Code
Comfortable clothes to dance in, as well as slippy smooth-soled shoes to turn in. Ladies please wear shoes of the heel height you're used to (flats are fine). Bear in mind that toes may be trodden on, so sandals are best avoided!
