We’re excited to invite you to come along to our Children’s Day during half-term, as part of Farsley Lit Fest. On Tuesday 28th October, 11am – 3pm, at The Old Woollen, we will have THREE exciting one-hour long Children’s Author Workshops and you’re welcome to join one, two or all three of them.* 12.30pm – ‘The Floofs’ – Design a Graphic Novel with PENELOPE O’NEILL
Fun for all the Family / Perfect for 6-9 Year Olds
Penelope O’Neill, author-illustrator of The Floofs has put together a workshop that will see you learn how to create your own graphic novel.
From designing comic book heroes and villains to mapping out a comic book strip, this is your chance to show off your creative skills and learn new ones. Plus, there’ll be an exciting draw-a-long of a Floof character from Penelope’s popular novels and the opportunity to ask her questions about her journey to becoming a published author.
£2 per child, adults go free
