Carl and Cheryl Craven will give an illustrated talk about the work of Bridge Inn Community Farm which provides individualised programmes of work activities and vocational training in Horticultural, Conservation, Agriculture and Art at sites in Formby and Southport. Established in 2010 the farm in Formby sits on a beautiful 4-acre smallholding. More recently the team have established the Kitchen Garden at Hesketh Park in Southport providing freshly grown vegetables, perennials and seasonal bedding, with a shop on site.The team have been awarded Keep Britain Tidy Green Flags, RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood awards and Large Gold Medals at Southport Flower Show. Their artwork features regularly at the Southport Chrysanthemum and Gardening Society Spring and Autumn Shows.
The Formby site has opened regularly for the National Garden Scheme and the Kitchen Garden will be joining the scheme in 2026.
