Íslenski dansflokkurinn tekur yfir Litla svið Borgarleikhússins með „Þar sem við mætumst“, samsköpunarverki dansara flokksins.
Í líkama dansarans býr uppsöfnuð reynsla, minni og þekking, sem mótast hefur í gegnum ótal sköpunarferli. Í verkinu fá dansararnir rými til sjálfstæðrar sköpunar, þar sem þau leiða ferlið sjálf og ögra hefðbundnum valdastrúktúr með að stíga samtímis inn í hlutverk dansara og danshöfundar.
Áhorfendum er boðið upp á kvöldstund þar sem ólíkar raddir mætast í sameiginlegri hugleiðingu um kraftinn sem felst í hlustun og samhljómi.

Title: Where We Meet
Iceland Dance Company takes over the Small Stage at the City Theatre with Where We Meet, a devised performance created by the company’s dancers.
Within a dancer’s body lives accumulated experience, memory, and knowledge, shaped through countless creative processes. The dancers are given space for independent creation, leading the process themselves and challenging traditional hierarchies by stepping simultaneously into the roles of both performer and choreographer.
Audience members are invited to an evening where diverse voices come together in a shared reflection on the empowerment of listening and finding harmony.
