About this Event
ÜNDA Workshop series: Marathon Prep
Join us for a 2HR immersive session unpacking the most common questions and strategies we’ve been covering with our athletes leading up to the major marathons coming this fall.
The session is focused on showing you how to prep the body for going fast or going long, how to manage the most common pain points we see with runners in our clinic and how to incorporate mindful mobility to your cooldowns or daily practice.
We’ll move through:
⁃ Dynamic warm ups
⁃ Prepping the foot to move in all directions
⁃ Achilles, Patella, Hamstring and Hip Flexor moves
⁃ Hip and Lower back mobility focus
In regards to nutrition, Alanna Bray-Lougheed (RD, OLY) will be hosting a discussion on fuelling for runs. There’ll be a combo of the science behind it and strategies on how to implement it for training and for race day.
