About this Event

Stories of the Exodus and Situation in Spanish and English

TodoSomos will host an afternoon of readings of first person testimonies from Venezuelan refugees and migrants as they and hope for change in their country. In addition we will share stories of the impact of new policies in our own country – where racism, xenophobia and the normalization of intolerance have set parts of our community against each other and cause many to forego health care, hold their children from school and keep silent when mistreated by authorities or individuals within their own communities.

Readings will be followed by a panel discussion and a short reception.
