With perfect conditions forecast this Bank Holiday Sunday - warm weather, calm seas and very light winds - it’s looking like an ideal day to get out on the water!We’ll be set up on the beach at Porlock Weir offering kayak and stand-up paddleboard hire for just £20 per person for 1 hour.

Where to Find Us:
We’ll be located on the beach behind Turkey Cottages.
Simply walk over the harbour bridge and head towards the pill box to find us.

Important Information
Children & Under 18s:
Children aged 6+ are welcome
Tandem kayaks are available for adults and smaller children
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
What to Wear:
The sea is still quite cold, with water temperatures around 11°C, so wetsuits are strongly recommended. We suggest arriving with swimwear already on underneath and bringing a large towel for changing afterwards.
Footwear:
As it’s a pebble beach, suitable footwear is advised.
Payment:
Cash preferred, although card payments will also be available.
Booking:
Just turn up on the day, though we can't guarantee spaces!
Waiver & Safety:
All participants will be asked to sign a waiver on the day and follow a few simple safety guidelines to help keep everyone safe on the water and around the harbour.
Please note that this is craft hire and not a guided session with an instructor.
If you're not confident on the water, or cannot swim, we recommend booking onto one of our guided trips.
Make a day of it!

- Have lunch at one of the cafes, a pub lunch at the Ship, or wood fired pizza at the Weir hotel.
- Treat yourselves to a Styles Ice Cream
- Visit the galleries, glass and independant shops at Porlock Weir
- Keep your eyes peeled for Porpoise and Sea Eagles!
