About this Event
In a full spectrum of Latinx sound shaped by diaspora, resistance and collective joy, ¡OYE! is throwing its first London edition, teaming up with friends to cook up a sancocho mix that will shake your booty.
We’ve curated a day fiesta to gather, connect and soundtrack the beginning of what’s already feeling like a rough 2026, with warmth over doom, community over chaos and movement as medicine. We’re also celebrating our beloved Amancai’s birthday, so expect extra cariño, unruly energy and a lot of love in the room.
Serving throughout the afternoon and evening:
Rataprincess, Bogotá-born and raised, blending Hip Hop with Latin American club mutations, original beats and remixed classics shaped across NYC, Berlin, Medellín and beyond.
Dr. Perra, from the heart of Bogotá, brings a Queer, migrant identity that offers a hot range of traditional Latin American and other diasporic genres including salsa, currulao, merengue, MPB and electronic-infused grooves that shape an edgy, picante and fluid style.
Amancai, Colombian Picotero culture ambassador and co-architect of Zaperoco, drawing from Afro-Caribbean and Colombian sound-system traditions: cumbia, champeta, soukous, makossa, highlife, zouk, calypso, compas, Afro-Latin funk and tropical disco edits.
