We are hosting a GALA in honor of Cowfish’s 16th year of evolution in Downtown Eugene, Oregon, Planet Earth,and you are invited!!! Let the inspirations of sea and space guide your presence in attitude and attire. All life forms, aquatic & alien are welcome to gather, to enjoy hors d’ovours, and to dance the night away on the Friday night of April 10. With costume explore the differences and similarities of fish and aliens at Eugene’s longest running dance club in existence, and die hard cafe by day. Over the years Cowfish has emerged as a one of a kind, neon glowing, time-transporting, community-oriented, eccentric gem of Eugene.Reception of sea and space food starting at 8pm, special performances at 9, and a club wide LIP SYNC BATTLE at 10:30pm! DJ SPOC-3PO in the dj booth for the dance party. For the lip sync battle sign-up prior to 10pm with your real name, stage name, and song of choice. Bonus points for songs in theme with our intergalactic aquarium. Contestants will have the stage and dance floor to perform and compete in a competition for actual american dollars!! 1st place wins $100!! $50 will be awarded to 2nd place and 3rd place receives cowfish swag. Don’t sleep on this opportunity to shine like a crepuscular ray in this dark and scary world.
