Hello everyone, let's come together again to make a meaningful impact! We're organizing another Zumba fundraising event, this time to support our dear friend Emilita Gimalay. Emilita, a resident of Henri Bradet nursing home in Cote St Luc, has been courageously overcoming the challenges of paralysis since her severe stroke in 2018. Although we successfully helped her obtain refugee status through our previous fundraising efforts, her status has now expired. We're now rallying together to support her application for permanent residency on humanitarian grounds. To make this possible, we urgently need to cover the costs of an immigration lawyer and permanent resident fees.
