About this Event
Gather around the table for an elevated evening of original poetry by Ebony Payne-English, soulful comfort food by Chef Kalin Anderson, and meaningful community connection designed to celebrate heritage through shared experience.
Join the St. Johns Cultural Council and Zora's Sojourn for Zoraβs Sunday Supper, an intimate Juneteenth weekend gathering honoring the literary legacy of Zora Neale Hurston, her time in St. Augustine, and the enduring power of Black storytelling, scholarship, and Southern culinary tradition.
St. Augustine artist Danielle Torry will paint live during the event, which will then be auctioned off to benefit a beautification project for Zora's Sojourn. Aramis Stone provides musical entertainment.
