On Wednesday, June 30 from 9am to 5pm the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will be hosting Zoo Access for All Celebration Day with Quiet Hours. We are very excited to raise awareness about our Zoo Access for All program to encourage families and individuals of all backgrounds to visit our world-class organization to build lifelong and multi-generational memories. As part of our Zoo Access for All Celebration Day, quiet hours will be in effect all day during visiting hours. From 9am to 2pm, local Cincinnati organizations will be onsite to provide information on what resources their organizations provide for families of individuals with developmental disabilities.
What does it mean when the Zoo is hosting Quiet Hours?
To assist those visiting with sensory sensitivities, we have quieted any excess noises within the Zoo (our PA system, additional music, turned down loud experiences, etc.) except for those noises required for safety (PA system with Kanga Klimb, Train Whistle and crossings, Electric Convenience Vehicle cart noises, etc.).
