Step Ladder Records delves into the experimental, whimsical and ethereal with their first ever Stage & Radio event…-ZOLATEC:
Breakbeats stutter in dark soundscapes, cut with steelpan polyrhythms, ethereal vocals and shoegaze textures. Wide basslines pay homage to sound system subs, shaping dynamic build-ups and heavy drops.

Psychedelic pre-apocalyptic protest skiffle from beneath the stress of glorious Manchester, weaving stories straight from the mountain down throughout our unreal city. Take a hand, and shimmy sideways across the void. Expect a jangly blend of psych folk, garage, surf and country soundscapes.
-Gary Fisher
Gary Fisher is a sound artist and experimental composer. He performs improvised pieces with with an eclectic array of sound sources and instruments including synthesizers, DIY electronics, found objects, and found sounds.
