The second Saturday in October features Zion's annual Strassenfest Fall Festival from 9am - 4pm. Enjoy shopping the uniquely themed booths selling original items created, built and donated by Zion members and community friends. There’s also a silent auction, a delicious brat fry, and a talented wandering accordion player setting the atmosphere! Held in the Zion school gym with parking and easy entrance off Franklin street. Cash and credit accepted.
Our fall market will feature the following themed shopping booths:
• Pantry—Homemade canned foods and garden produce, sauces, dried herbs, spices, and plants.
• Bakery—Homemade breads, cookies, bars, pastries, pies, cakes, doughnuts, and more.
• Candy—A sweet tooth's dream! Divinity, fudge, chocolate, peanut brittle, toffee, truffles, caramels, hard candies, etc.
• Antiques—vintage Items including furniture, glassware, pictures, tools, art, and so much more.
• Kitchen & Household—Crafted items you can't live without!
• Boutique Unique—Handmade gems from the minds of creators.
• Books Galore—And puzzles! Hundreds of classics, westerns, romance novels, textbooks, kids books, fairytales, travel books, etc.
• Christmas—Your eyes will glitter with glee.
• Snack Stop—Sweet snacks like coffee cake, doughnuts, brownies, cookies and more to keep up your energy as you shop.
• Brat Fry—It's not a German fall festival without some bratwurst! Bring your friends and family for this tasty brat fry right in the center of this amazing fall festival.
