"The term “zine” is short for “magazine” or “fanzine” (short for “fan magazine”). But instead of glossy pages and high-tech printing, zines are typically handmade and come in all sorts of sizes and formats. Think of them as the artistic offspring of a scrapbook and a magazine. They’re personal, creative and often produced in small batches, making each one a unique piece of art."
