Join Drawn to the Sea artist Avery Hick for a hands-on zine workshop inspired by maritime stories, comics, and the museum’s collection. Participants will create their own folded mini-publication while exploring comic storytelling techniques and Avery’s creative process in conversation with curator Tania Sammons.Following Comic Currents, this workshop offers a more intimate opportunity to learn directly from one of the featured exhibition artists inside Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum. Drinks and light snacks included.
Admission is $20 for non-members and $10 for museum members with a member discount code.
