- Learn from local artist and official Betty's Books illustrator, Alain McAlister, how to go about creating fanart, and how to use fanart to construct your own story
- Learn how to make your own zine
- Participate in a zine swap (bring some to share, or swap what you've made!)
- Have the chance to buy some of Alain's work not sold at the shop
