About this Event
Zest Speed Dating is an evening centred on real conversation, a welcoming atmosphere, and the chance to connect properly, face to face.
The evening is designed to feel easy and enjoyable, with a clear structure that allows everything to flow naturally.
Whether it’s your first time trying speed dating or you’ve done it before, everything is explained clearly so you can relax and focus on meeting new people.
You’ll be meeting a group of like-minded people who are all there for the same reason — to meet someone in a genuine, relaxed setting.
You’ll be welcomed on arrival and gently guided throughout the evening by Sarah, founder of Zest Singles, creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere from the start.
We aim for a balanced group, typically around 12 men and 12 women.
Many people say they prefer this to online dating — it feels more natural, more genuine, and far more enjoyable.
What to expect
- A friendly, well-run evening where everything is clearly guided, helping you feel at ease from the moment you arrive
- 4–5 minute dates, with time to settle into each conversation

Ticket price: £29 per person (food and drinks purchased separately)
Parking: Ample free parking — simply enter your car registration on arrival
Who can attend?
This event is for singles aged 50-65 who are open to meeting someone in real life.
It’s relaxed, friendly and welcoming — whether you’ve tried speed dating before or this is your first time.
How it works
7:00pm - Arrive, check in, and grab a drink. You’ll receive your dating card and table number.
(Please arrive by 7:15pm so the event can begin promptly)
7:20pm - The dating begins. Ladies remain seated, gentlemen rotate between tables.
Each mini-date lasts around 4–5 minutes, with a gentle signal when it’s time to move on.
Halfway break — Time to refresh, mingle, and top up your drink.
9.30pm - The event finishes, with the option to stay and chat afterwards.
After the event, you’ll receive a short online form to submit your matches.
Please return your choices by Friday lunchtime.
Matches are then shared privately over the weekend.
