This is our 11th year in Atlanta! In the design and construction industry, we find ourselves creating a lot of waste from materials collected in our finish libraries that inevitably make their way to the landfill.
So we asked, "why not find a way to repurpose or upcycle, these materials back into our community?" Once unwanted materials can now be a free-source materials for educators and non-profit associations, or be transformed into works of art by artists and crafters.
IIDA Georgia (International Interior Design Association of Georgia) is hosting the 11th annual ZeroLandfill Atlanta event with Wilsonart and Officeworks. To date, we have helped upcycle more than 400,000 pounds of discontinued architectural and interior design samples. Help us beat our previous year totals by participating in the 2024 ZeroLandfill Atlanta event!
DROPPING OFF | Wednesday Aug. 14 and Friday Aug. 16
Thanks so much for passing along your samples to this great cause! Our volunteers will be happy to receive your drop-offs at Officeworks for 2 afternoons.
Items accepted and most wanted:
Carpet tiles, other flooring samples, fabric (memo size or larger), paint decks, plastic laminate chips, brick, tile and stone samples, wallcovering books & memos, and glass and metal samples.
Please no damaged or cut samples, binders, sample tip cards, magazines or office supplies or vinyl flooring samples.

PICKING UP | Saturday Aug. 17
Help us keep things out of the landfill by picking up FREE discontinued materials for classroom, arts and crafts projects and any other creative purpose.
