About this Event
The Circular Economy and Zero Waste Certificate program is designed to provide professionals across all industries with the basic knowledge and skills needed to understand, implement, and promote circular economy principles and sustainable waste management practices. The course will describe how businesses, organizations, schools, government facilities, construction projects, and more can transition from traditional linear models to circular systems, with an emphasis on reducing waste, optimizing resource use, innovation, and promoting the sustainability benefits of zero waste (such as carbon emissions reductions, energy savings, etc.). Throughout the course, students will learn from real-world case studies and innovations from a variety of entities that have transitioned to circular practices.

- Regulatory and Policy Frameworks that support the transition to a circular economy.

- Performance Analysis; data tracking, zero waste audits & life cycle analysis (LCA).
- Identify Certifications for facilities and professionals that demonstrate circular economy and zero waste leadership.
