About this Event
The world feels so overwhelming for many of us right now. A gentle space for self-love, compassion, and acceptance is important more than ever.
This guided meditation at the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens is a chance to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself in nature. We’ll begin with 30 minutes of sitting, followed by 40-45 minutes of slow, silent, mindful walking. The practice focuses on the natural flow of the breath, with no rigid rules, just noticing your thoughts as they come and go.
No prior experience is needed. All ages, religions, genders and cultural backgrounds are welcome. This is an open, nurturing space, so please come just as you are! The intention is to support a calmer, more balanced nervous system and a lighter state of mind.
- Please register in advance.
- We'll meet at The Conservatory at Fitzroy Garden.
- Please also bring an umbrella just in case of rain (we're in Melbourne after all!).
- I’ll provide covers for everyone to sit on, and if sitting on the grass isn’t suitable for you, let me know and I’ll do my best to find a good spot with a bench nearby.
