How does the 8 week programme work?
This program is a secular (non-religious) exploration of mindfulness and meditation taken directly from ancient Zen practices.
While it shares similarities with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), it forgoes the therapist-client relationship to focus on self-guided growth.
The programme goes beyond stress relief and psychological well-being, inviting participants to embark on a deeply personal journey.
What to Expect
- 8 weekly 1.5 - 2 hour group sessions covering a different topic each week including; stress, physical pain, emotional pain, anxiety, and depression.
- Learn and practice 4 Zen meditation techniques. Guided initially by Dawn (Reconnection to Wellness) then individual practice through an audio clip for the duration.
- Some mindful movement practice- suitable for all abilities.
- Receive ongoing support from Dawn throughout the programme.

Previous participants on this course reported stress levels decrese by 49% and quality of life scores increase by 63%
