About this Event
The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (RGoZ), through the Ministry of Health (MOH), strives to promote the appropriate adoption, integration and use of cost-effective digital health technologies for improving the health system performance and delivery of quality health care services to all the people of Zanzibar.
Digital health transformation in Zanzibar is identified as one of the Presidential Priorities, aiming to accelerate the provision of improved quality health services to the people of Zanzibar.
Following the completion period of the first Zanzibar Digital Health Strategy, the Ministry of Health is planning to conduct the first Zanzibar Digital Health Conference where the guest of honor is expected to be His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council.
The theme for the conference “Equitable Digital Health Innovation: From Pilots to National Impact”-reflects our shared commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that technological advancements translate into measurable improvement in healthcare.
The Ministry of Health is therefore submitting an official request to support the implementation of the first Digital Health Conference which is expected to be held on 30th – 31st March, 2026 at Golden Tulip Airport Hotel, Zanzibar.This is an hybrid event, held both in-person and virtually.
