Join us for the next meeting of the Violet Hour Book Club, a reading group devoted to classic and contemporary works of LGBTQ literature.The book we will be discussing is Zami: A New Spelling of My Name, A Biomythography by Audre Lorde (1982). The VHBC will be meeting at the Archives gaies du Quebec, located at 1000, Atateken (Amherst, #201-A). The event will be moderated by Christopher DiRaddo.
In 2025, I will be asking VHBC participants to donate a small amount, if they can, to help keep the book club going. This is not mandatory (I know everyone's situation is different). There will be a jar to collect funds at the end of the event, or people can send e-transfers to me at [email protected]. Thanks in advance.
