Each month we will have a different class using the patterns and kits from Zakka Workshop! It will be the third Sunday afternoon each month. Each month will feature a different pattern and hardware to help build your sewing skills!
These miniature cookie-shaped pouches are so sweet, we bet you can’t make just one! Store special treasures inside, such as jewelry, coins, or candy. These are all done by hand sewing (don’t panic, these are fun!) – NO SEWING MACHINE REQUIRED. The pattern that will be given out in class will be for a patchwork design of these, but we will be making them in a solid fabric. Fabric kits will be available (free) in class, but if you want to bring your own – please do so!
Finished Size: About 2 1/4″ (5.5 cm) in diameter x 1 1/8″ (2.8 cm) tall.
The fee includes the class AND the pattern kit (pattern and hardware)! Limited quantities of extra hardware will be available to purchase in class.
Items needed:
- Outside Fabric – 4″ x 8″ cotton fabric – only if you do not want to use our kits
- Lining Fabric – 4″ x 8″ cotton fabric – only if you do not want to use our kits
- Needle for hand sewing
- Strong thread (heavyweight is recommended, or you can double up on your dress weight thread)
