As a part of the cultures, comedy festival, Zabrina Douglas a Juno nominated comedian will be coming to Ottawa to perform live with Toronto based Rising star Harpreet Sehmbi and local killer comic Dawn Xanklin!

Harpreet sehmbi hosting
Harpreet is a Toronto-based comedian, writer, and actor. She’s an alumna of Second City Toronto’s Longform Improvisation and Sketch Conservatory programs and regularly performs stand-up all over North America. She’s headlined Wisconsin’s Lady Laughs Comedy Festival, Chicago Women’s Funny Festival, and the Guelph Comedy Festival. Harpreet has performed at the North Carolina Comedy Festival, New York’s Very Big Very Asian Comedy Festival, and at Toronto’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. She also has a residency at Broadway and Greenwich Village Comedy Clubs in New York.
In August 2022, Harpreet released her debut comedy album, Irregular Harpbeat, as heard on Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio through SiriusXM.
Dawn Xanklin
Dawn Xanklin doesn’t take shit – she stirs it up and serves it.
Dawn is a wife, mom and Blerd (Black Nerd) from Ottawa by way of Dominica. She’s hit seven years as a stand-up comic and is known for being sarcastic, smart, and simply adorkable.

Zabrina Douglas
Zabrina Douglas is a Canadian stand-up comedian.[1] Her comedy album Things Black Girls Say: The Album received a Juno Award nomination for Comedy Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2023.[2]
Douglas, a registered nurse, performed occasional stand-up comedy sets at Kenny Robinson's Nubian Disciples nights for Black Canadian comedians in the 2000s, and was a nominee for the Tim Sims Award in 2008.
She broke through to wider success in 2020 as the headliner of Laughter from the Frontlines, a virtual comedy show organized by Daniel Woodrow's Unknown Comedy Club featuring frontline health care workers performing comedy and storytelling about coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] She subsequently organized Things Black Girls Say, a regular show at Toronto's Comedy Bar, and recorded her sets at the April 15 and 16, 2022, shows for release as an album.[3]
Zabrina Douglas has done JFL Vancouver, JFL Montreal and JFL Toronto.
