Matt Carrillo, aka Yung Mehico, is a multi-platinum artist, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist whose jazz roots have evolved into a sound that bridges hip-hop, R&B, and soul. Based in New York City, he’s known for his versatility—producing for Action Bronson, playing keys for The Weeknd, performing sax for Berlioz, and co-creating immersive soundscapes with producers like Harry Fraud and The Alchemist. Last summer, he released his debut single “About You,” which he produced himself, marking a significant step in his ongoing growth and evolution. With more music on the way, his rhythms and soulful melodies create a sound that’s uniquely his own.
