About this Event
The Yuma County to End Homelessness needs your help to make every person count.
Volunteers are a pivotal part of helping us go out into the community and allow every unsheltered individual and family to have the opportunity to make their voice heard.
The Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is an annual survey completed on behalf of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development surveying individuals experiencing homelessness. It is pivotal in helping to determine funding.
Volunteers only need to attend the training one time and can pick the training that best works with their schedule. If all tickets for that time slot are full please email [email protected] to sign up for your preferred spot.
All training will be held in person to ensure appropriate training is given to all individuals. This year's PIT Count will take place from January 24th to 26th. For questions about the training don't hesitate to get in touch with Lt. Amber Herzog at (253)228-1032 or [email protected].
