Yule is a time to celebrate the Winter Solstice. Join us for this Ritual to reflect on the past year and set new goals together.
About this Event

Join Horizon Pagans as we celebrate Yule, the festival of the winter solstice, when the Sun is reborn and the Wheel of the Year turns toward brighter, longer days. At winter solstice time, the sun reaches its lowest point in the sky, marking the shortest day and longest night of the year. The sun's position in the sky changes very little for a few days around the solstice, making it appear to stand still. At Yule we honor the Holly King and the Oak King in the eternal dance between light and dark.

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner after the ritual. Please also bring a camp chair and blanket if you might like to sit outside around a fire after clean-up.
Optional: dress in festive Yuletide garb, as in, “don we now our gay apparel!”

All ages are welcome at our family-friendly events, including children under adult supervision. Childcare is also provided.

Ritual begins at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

All Are Welcome!
