Yukio Mishima was a gay, prize-winning Japanese author, model, and bodybuilder deeply influenced by European decadence. He was also the leader of a failed fascist coup d'etat and died by ritual suicide. In this session, we will be exploring Mishima and the confluence of male homoeroticism with beauty and death.
