About this Event
This exclusive event will offer you a behind-the-scenes tour of Alstom’s factories in Hornell, New York. You’ll see where Amtrak’s new Acela “Avelia Liberty” fleet and the next generation of NJ Transit’s Multi Level rail cars are being assembled — and learn about the integral role that transit manufacturing plays in Upstate New York’s economy.
We’ll take off from Midtown Manhattan at 6:30am, and make the trip via charter bus to Hornell, NY. In Hornell, Alstom’s representatives will take us on a tour of town, host a Q&A period over lunch, and guide us through their two facilities in town. We’ll plan to return to NYC at 11:00pm EST.
