YouthQuake-Inspired Clothing upcycling workshop
Bring an item of clothing to this workshop to turn into a wearable piece of art. The 60s arts/culture Youthquake movement will serve as the inspiration for this workshop. The vibe is colourful, irregular, wonky, vintage, funky and slightly psychedelic. Fun colourful clothing for fun colourful adults. We will use colourful vinyl scraps and a heat press to create the clothing item of your dreams. No digital designs - just fabric, scissors and some heat 🔥🥵 The results of vinyl-heat printing are durable and last a lifetime, so after this workshop you can add a genuine gem to your closet.
Note: the materials we use are vinyl scraps otherwise thrown away. This means the availability of colours will be different for each workshop.

What to bring:
- A piece of clothing that could use some funk! Note:not all fabrics are suitable for this technique. What works: cotton, polyester fabric, poly/cotton blends, canvas, and denim.

Your own uniquely designed piece of clothing. Made with vinyl cutouts and inspired by the youthquake movement.
