Come and learn about this ancient art form, create a pot and experience the firing process. This is a 4-day workshop. Attend all four days: June 15, 16, 17, 20: noon – 4 PM each day.Learn from the mother and daughter duo, Janet Klarer and Eliza Klarer, and create pottery by hand. They learned from Janet’s mother, Judy Toppings, an artist, teacher, and activist who
worked alongside her cousin, Carrie Estey Ortiz, to revitalize the lost art form.
The workshop is suitable for kids ages 10 and up (parents are welcome to assist). And will be held at Rail River Folk School located at 303 Railroad Street SW, in Bemidji.
