The City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to launch a brand‑new event built just for young athletes: the Youth Splash and Dash! This exciting multisport challenge is perfect for kids ages 6–12 who love to stay active—or those ready to try something bold, new, and confidence‑boosting.
Participants will kick off the morning with a 200‑yard swim, then hit the ground running with a 2K course weaving around the Lake Wilmore Park facility and nearby athletic fields. It’s a fun, supportive way to build healthy habits, introduce youth to multisport events, and showcase everything our newest recreation center has to offer.
🎟️ Registration is required and available online through MyRec. Space is limited, so early sign‑ups are encouraged to secure a spot in this exciting first‑ever event.
