About this Event
The F.I.N.A.L. Youth Council’s Community & Cultural Wellness Committee invites you to join us for our Youth Reawakening the Medicine: 4 Sacred Ways workshop! 🌱🪶
Join us for a Medicine Teachings Workshop centered on traditional medicines of the Southwest region, with facilitator Dwight Francisco, Tohono O'odham. This gathering is designed for Indigenous high school youth to learn about the cultural significance, responsibilities, and teachings connected to plant medicines among Southwest Nations.
Through guided discussion and cultural sharing, youth will gain a deeper understanding of respect, protocol, and the role of traditional knowledge in wellness today. This workshop creates a safe and supportive space for learning, reflection, and connection to culture. 🖤💛❤️
