(This is a blended course, with self-paced online pre-work and an in-person Instructor-led session.)
Do you live, work, or worship in Alameda County, California? Come join us for a day of learning and growth at our free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training! This insightful training is attentive to BIPOC, LBGTQ+, and people of faith, and will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to support young people ages 12-18 who are struggling with mental health challenges. The training is led by MHFA Instructor Rev. Toni Dunbar, and generously sponsored by Alameda County Behavioral Health Community Based Learning. The event will be held at City of Refuge United Church of Christ, 8400 Enterprise Way, Oakland, CA 94621, on Saturday June 15, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
