Youth Mental Health First Aid equips participants with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in children and adolescents ages 12–18.This class does not undermine the natural resilience of youth. Instead, it helps participants recognize early signs and symptoms of substance use and behavioral health concerns, address common misconceptions, and connect young people and families to appropriate local resources.
