Youth Mental Health First Aid Onsite Training

Day 1 of this training is on Wednesday 3rd February and Day 2 is on Thursday 4th February, both from 9.30am to 5pm. Both sessions must be attended to obtain the certificate.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is First Aid for youth's experiencing emotional or mental distress, including support for youths experiencing suicidal feelings. It is aimed at saving lives, improving responses to those in distress and to making our society more compassionate. Youth MHFA is an Internationally acclaimed training course and is accredited in the UK by the Royal Society for Public Health.

As a parent, guardian, or someone who works with young people, you are often the first to notice when a young person is experiencing emotional distress.The Youth MHFA course gives you the tools and confidence to step in and provide support.
