Living for Zachary is sponsoring free heart screenings for youth ages 12-22 at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - McKinney on Saturday, July 17th!-Appointments are required
-Spaces are limited
-Parents MUST BE PRESENT for youth under the age of 18
The “Living for Zachary Heart Screening” is a special screening program for youth ages 12-22 that can help detect heart abnormalities that may lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest. A Living for Zachary Heart Screening is not a substitute for a thorough exam and consultation with a physician. While the screening seeks to detect conditions which may lead to SCA, it does not guarantee all risks of SCA will be detected.
This non-invasive screening package includes:
-Electrocardiogram
-Limited 2-D Echocardiogram
-Blood pressure screening
-SCA Risk Health Questionnaire (AHA recommended)
-Screening reviewed and interpreted by a board-certified cardiologist
