The Leawood Police Department is hosting a Kids Fishing Derby at the Tomahawk Creek Pkwy North Pond (approximately 114th St / Tomahawk Creek Pkwy). Bring the entire family to this fun, FREE event where children can learn to fish in the lake stocked with a variety of fish. Registration starts at 8:30, fishing is from 9-10, and prizes to follow!Bring your pole! Bobbers and bait will be provided. Light breakfast items will be available.
