About this Event
Youth Entrepreneurship Day Camp
Does your middle schooler have a big idea — or just a curiosity about how businesses work? This one-day camp, hosted by the Buchanan Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Drake University gives 6th–8th grade students a hands-on introduction to entrepreneurship from university staff.
Students will spend the day working through the fundamentals of building a business — identifying a problem worth solving, mapping out a business model, and presenting their idea to peers and instructors at the end of the day. No prior experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to think big.
Campers will leave with tangible takeaways, a certificate of completion, and a new way of thinking about the world around them.
