About this Event

Join us at the Youth Climate Forum on 26th October 2024 at the Midlands Art Centre (MAC) from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM as part of MAC’s ‘Big Green Weekender’. This event, hosted by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), celebrates the impactful work young people are doing to tackle the climate crisis and highlights the challenges they face.

The forum will feature panel discussions on key topics such as:

  • Youth Climate Action in the West Midlands: Hear from young activists campaigning for change in the region.
  • Climate Education: Hear from young people how they are campaigning for climate education to be included throughout our curriculum.
  • Climate based careers: Learn about careers open to young people within the environment sector and the rise of young people prioritising environmental values early in their careers.

This is a chance to engage with young people from across the West Midlands, gain insights into the future of climate action, and discover how young people across the West Midlands are driving change.

Free entry, but spaces are limited. Book your ticket now!
