
About this Event
Indiana Audubon Society is hosting a full day of free youth and family-focused birding activities on Saturday, May 17th from 9am-4pm CT at the Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Center in Chesterton, Indiana. Join us for hourly hikes for beginners, bluebird house building, crafts, owl pellet dissections, games, a live bird presentation from Humane Indiana Wildlife, and more! Many activities may be rain or shine.

This event is free! Registration is not required.
Accessibility
The Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Center has accessible entrances, rooms, seats, and restrooms. The hourly bird hikes will include moderate walks on nearby trails at the Indiana Dunes State Park.
Admission
Admission to the event is free; however, entry to the state park requires either an annual park pass or a fee of $7 for Indiana residents and $12 for non-residents.
