Join Pride Center West Texas as we create a team of volunteers dedicated to advocating for the LGBTQN+ youth of West Texas!About this Event
In this training you will be equipped to step in to meet the needs of queer youth, young adults, & families, support GSA’s in the Permian Basin, learn to work the Center’s facilities for youth group/events (as well as community groups), and gain a general competency in LGBTQN+ community engagement. Attendees must be willing to pass a Level 2 background check after the training (before in-person youth advocacy work can begin).
