About this Event
Are you 12-18 and passionate about creative learning and making sure education reflects the real experiences of diverse local communities?
Join us for an interactive event where you will explore our digital exhibition space and respond to educational resources centred on the voices, experiences, histories, and activism of global majority communities in Greater Manchester.
Through art, discussions, and hands-on activities, you will engage with material that spotlight local individuals and movements often left out of mainstream education. From analysing activist posters, to exploring diverse community stories and learning about local activists, this is a chance to learn differently and make your voice heard.
Your feedback will directly contribute to a youth-led set of recommendations aimed at improving how schools and educators use these resources. We are not just asking for your opinion, we are inviting you to shape something that could impact how future learners connect with their own histories and communities.
Participants will receive:
· Free refreshments
· A £25 voucher as a thank you
· Acknowledgment for helping shape educational resources and making education more inclusive and locally rooted
Please note: Parts of the session will be filmed. Consent forms are required for under 16s. The form will be sent once you have booked on.
Bring your ideas, creativity, and perspective to help reimagine what inclusive education can look like. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out!
